Jamie, Dental Hygienist
Jamie has been practicing dental hygiene since 1983. The majority of her career was with the Cleveland Clinic caring for the dental health of head and neck cancer patients and patients with facial trauma.
She and her husband of 40 years, Randy, are very proud of their two accomplished daughters and were all very involved in the Strongsville soccer community. They also recently became grandparents!
Jamie says, “My patients are an extension of my family, and I very much enjoy caring for each of them.”
Andrea, Dental Hygienist
With over 40 years of dental experience, Andrea brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the hygiene department. She excels at educating her patients about all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest in screening for airway disorders in adults and children.
She is originally from Pennsylvania and is a hockey fan. In her free time she enjoys being with her children and grandchildren, as well as biking different trails around Ohio and PA.
Donna, Dental Hygienist
A native of Oklahoma, Donna moved around and found her home in Ohio in 2006. She and her husband have 5 kids, 3 “in-love”s, and 6 grandchildren (and counting!). In her spare time she likes to walk, read, and spend time with her family. Her favorite place is a chair on the beach!
Donna has been a hygienist with Dr. Sharkey for many years, and has been an amazing addition to the team at Butler Family Dentistry!
Alexis, Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary
Alexis has been in dentistry since high school, and has gone above and beyond with her dental training to get her EFDA license. As an EFDA, Alexis is able to place fillings and have expanded capabilities as a dental assistant. She takes great pride in her work and loves the satisfaction of giving patients a beautiful, long-lasting, filling.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys finding hidden gems at thrift shops and auctions and enjoys traveling to “keep life exciting”!
Alyssa, Dental Assistant
Alyssa became a certified dental assistant in 2016, and has been with Butler Family Dentistry since 2020. She is very passionate about creating a comfortable and positive experience for her patients.
Currently, she lives in Berea with her husband and 2 cats, Peanut and Ziller. When she isn’t working, she enjoys being outdoors camping, boating, and spending time with her family and friends.
Monica, Front Office
Monica has worked in dentistry for a total of 32 years as has been at the front desk with Dr. Butler since the beginning. She rises to the challenge of helping patients get the most out of their insurance benefits and does not rest until their insurance claim is paid.
A Strongsville native, she and her husband, Pat, have raised their 3 children here. Outside of work she loves spending time with her granddaughter and looks forward to Sunday dinners with her family. She enjoys hiking, camping, RVing, and has a love for animals.
Pam, Front Office
Pam has many years of experience in dentistry as an assistant and now is enjoying working at the front desk. She is excellent at getting to know patients and making them feel comfortable, from the moment they call our office as a new patient to the time they check out after their appointment.
Pam is originally from Canada and visits her 3 children and 2 granddaughters there, regularly. She also has 2 Australian shepherds, bakes amazing s’more cookies, is a yoga instructor, and is a veteran of the
Canadian Army!
